What Our Clients Say About Us
“I have been attending Morgan White Optometrists since 1993 and during that time I have grown both in trust and confidence in the eye examinations conducted. Dr Morgan’s advice on lens type and size has led to a more comfortable fit, resulting in unawareness that I am even wearing glasses.”
Mr A. Teagle, Kidlington
“I came for a routine eye examination at Morgan White Optometrists totally unaware that I had a detached retina. I was referred promptly and easily to the Oxford Eye Hospital where, with surgery, the retinal detachment was treated. The consequence of me not having made that eye examination appointment could have been permanent loss of sight in that eye.”
Mrs J. Coulling, Kidlington
“I wear contact lenses for skiing but always found they dried out my eyes by the time I got back to the hotel. Dr Morgan recommended trying a new daily disposable contact lens made with a better ‘moist’ material. Now I can wear them all day without thinking about them.”
Mr S. Townsend, Oxford
“I have recently found it difficult to ensure that my daughter wears her glasses at school. Dr Morgan suggested contact lenses and since the switch her teacher has commented on a huge improvement in attention and results. My daughter agrees that this is a direct result of being able to see the whiteboard and therefore take a more active part in lessons.”
Mrs S. Pressdee, Oxford
“My name is Mr J. Hancox. In April 2005 I went for an eye test to Mr Morgan. He told me I had a problem with my left eye and he would get my doctor to send me to the eye hospital. There, they made tests on my left eye and told me I had a tumour of the pituitary gland at the base of the brain. This benign tumour was pressing on my optic nerve and could cause me to have trouble with the eyesight in the left eye. On the 27th June 2005, I had an operation by a specialist brain surgeon to remove the tumour. After three weeks, all was now well and I was feeling fine. This week I visited Mr Morgan for an eye test and I did not need to change my glasses. I was very glad I took that eye test in April 2005. Thank you.”
